Dancing With the Stars 12: Week 9 Elimination
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, ABC, Dancing With The Stars,
Dancing With the Stars said good-bye to another star on Tuesday, leaving the season with only three contenders for the mirror ball. The tense elimination began with Kirstie Alley, Ralph Macchio, Chelsea Kane and Hines Ward. Hines scored two perfect 30s during the Monday performances, wowing the judges and the watching crowd, but Chelsea Kane scored first place for her cha-cha.
And in the end, Ralph Macchio just didn’t get enough votes to win a place in the finale. Kirstie, Hines and Chelsea will dance it out to see who claims the mirror ball. Kirstie’s partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy has never won the trophy and the title, so he’s sure to pull out all the stops for their routine next week.

Glee’s next episode is called “Funeral,” which sounds pretty bad. Maybe it’s not a literal term? Either way, this video doesn’t offer a whole lot of clues… but it does present some delicious moments with Jonathan Groff. See the sneak peek above.

Survivor Finale: Redemption At Last
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, CBS, Survivor, Gossip,
Turn back now if you don’t want to know what happened during the epic three-hour Survivor: Redemption Island finale event, which aired on Sunday night.
The maestro managed to secure his victory at last. Joined by Natalie Tenerelli, 19, and Phillip Sheppard, 52, “Boston Rob” Mariano, 35, faced one of the show’s most unsympathetic juries in history… and still managed to procure all but one of the votes.
Only Ralph, the red-haired farmer, cast a vote Phillip’s way, no surprise after the touching heart-to-heart the two shared at the last tribal council. Rob, who orchestrated the entire game from day one, offered up a sweet speech to the jury before they unleashed a bitter tirade against the last three standing. Natalie was best known for being Mariano’s faithful lapdog, Phillip made himself one of the most unpopular castaways in show history… and in the end, it was David who most eloquently pleaded Rob’s case to the others.

SNL’s “The Ambiguously Gay Duo,” an animated pair created by Robert Smigel, have made 12 appearances on the show since 1996... but this past Saturday, fans saw them in a whole new way. Thanks to a flesh-ray invented by the evil villain Brain-O, we learned that the live action version of Ace and Gary look exactly like Jon Hamm and Jimmy Fallon, respectively.
Late night host Stephen Colbert played Brain-O, Steve Carell Big Head, cast member Fred Armisen became Lizardo and host Ed Helms is the two-face character in the fantastic skit.

Most of the SNL cast, musical guest Paul Simon, special guest Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel, to Gleeks), host Ed Helms and a member of Fleetwood Mac came together to bring us the skit above: an epic “What’s Up With That.” Bill Hader reprises his usual role as Lindsay Buckingham… only this time he’s joined by another Lindsay Buckingham! We’d like to thank sexy cowboys, California raisins and Keenan Thompson for the great video above.

NBC to Extend The Voice
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, NBC, Gossip,
NBC has finally found a hit with The Voice, a singing competition chock-full of intriguing new gimmicks and entertaining judges (Cee Lo, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are all fantastic). Now, the fourth-place network is on a mission to do what it does best: find a way to destroy it.
Playing true to pattern, NBC will now begin shoving its popular new program down viewers’ throats. Because what works for American Idol…(works for Fox). In June, The Voice will jump from 1 hour to 2 hours, running from 9 to 11 pm.

Ashton Kutcher Taking Charlie Sheen’s Place on ‘Men’
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, CBS, Gossip,
Reports are circulating that CBS has finally found an actor to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men: Ashton Kutcher.
Though, admittedly, we haven’t completely confirmed that we’re not being Punk’d.
Not that Kutcher hasn’t got sitcom chops. He first came to attention on That '70s Show, opposite the likes of Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, and others whose careers didn’t fare so well. Kutcher’s character will be brand-new and he’ll be introduced in the show’s next season.
Unless a torpedo of truth puts a halt on the production…again.

The stage was set for drama on the Thursday results episode of American Idol. With lights turned low, Ryan Seacrest intoned about the importance of the vote. You see, only the Top 3 get to go home in glory, to a big hero’s welcome. The fourth-place finisher simply goes home, to wait for the Idol summer tour with the rest of the season’s rejects.
